Polish residence permit — document preparation

We organise documents and procedural steps using the information and residence basis supplied by the client.

Start with the correct legal basis

A residence card is a document issued after a specific residence entitlement has been granted; it is not one universal procedure. Temporary residence for work, family circumstances, business activity, permanent residence and EU long-term residence all have different conditions.

Preparation therefore starts with the purpose and history of lawful stay and the applicant’s family and professional circumstances. Only then can the correct application, authority, fees and attachments be identified.

What to check before filing

  • whether the selected basis matches the real purpose of a stay exceeding three months
  • whether the application will be filed no later than the final day of lawful stay
  • whether the passport, photographs, payment evidence and purpose-related documents are current
  • which identity, fingerprint or other personal steps cannot be completed by a representative
  • how the competent voivodeship office accepts applications and supplements on the filing date

How we organise the case

  1. We organise data and documents using the residence basis supplied by the client.
  2. We prepare a procedural document checklist instead of one template for everyone.
  3. We technically prepare or check the MOS form and attachment consistency.
  4. We check formal completeness and explain payment steps.
  5. After filing, we organise confirmations and ordinary authority correspondence within the agreed scope.

Mistakes that commonly delay a case

  • using the wrong residence basis
  • inconsistent data in MOS, the passport and employer documents
  • a missing signature, fee, photograph or mandatory attachment
  • assuming that filing or a passport stamp automatically authorises work or Schengen travel
  • missing the deadline for an authority request

  • — government fees, translations, photographs, appeals, court work and representation

Frequently asked questions

Does filing alone guarantee lawful stay?

Not always. The effect depends, among other things, on filing on time and correcting formal defects. The right to work must be assessed separately.

Can a representative complete every step?

No. The applicant must personally complete identity, fingerprint and other required personal steps.

How much does the procedure cost?

Fees depend on the permit type. Government fees and the residence-card fee are separate from LegalPro’s price; account numbers should be checked with the competent voivodeship office.
